Just a moment: A Photo Collaborative

Good thing a friend of mine Rev, invited me to participate on an NY Time initiative to take a photo on May 2, 2010 at exactly 15:00 UTC which is 12:00PM in Buenos Aires.

So here's my entry. Note that this is not a contest, just people compiling a snapshot of history. :)

Dinner with the Quinteros

Since I've arrived on the middle of the week, Friday was just around the corner. And what better way to finish of the weekday than with new friends!

Margarita and Ricardo invited Sylvie, Bernardo and I to some left over food. Which I really looks like a feast!

and after some (a lot, really) food and wine. The group shot. 

The night ended late with good laughs and a full belly! \:D/

Hotel Madero

At last! Finally arrived at the Hotel Madero in Buenos Aires. 

The room was cozy and spacious and a small balcony to bum around.

a safe place to store my precious equipments.

But the highlight of the Hotel is the breakfast buffet! Fresh fruits, wide selection of pastries, cold cuts, cereals and juices makes me excited to waking up to another breakfast. :))

 

But alas the end has come and have to move to the Hilton as Hotel Madero cannot accommodate my hotel stay extension.

earth hour dinner @ Flapjacks

Tonight we celebrated earth hour, though unexpectedly, at flapjacks. A supposedly normal turned candle-lit dinner! 

It was nice to know that several if not all establishments in the greenbelt area obliged to shut down most of their lights to commemorate earth hour!
