yey bora!

it was friday and it also was the 13th, yet I can't contain my excitement. T'was because that day was the day we went to Boracay! It was 3 night and 4 days of absolute fun under the sun and moon na rin.

The previous week mushy and i went to an intense stomach diet of fat burning soup. At first i was skeptic about the idea of eating just veggies in tomato soup and fruits day after day after day (kasi 3 days lang), but hmmm.. how would i say this... i loved it more than mushy. :))

So back to bora, the plan was we will eat to our hearts content after our endeavor or should i say enDEVOUR of veggies and fruits. So after the long trip and skipping lunch, we were finally there and very much hungry.

So after settling down in the comfy Orchids resort [which should give me a discount the next time around for obvious reasons] we walked the path of white sands and found a turo mo luto ko restaurant [which won't give me reason for obvious reasons] we were ready to order.

mushy was so happy to get a hold of the menu.

After dinner we got separated with the others so we just went night swimming with the corn smelling weeds and then retired back to orchids thereafter.

after some good night's sleep, it's time to go snorkeling and island hopping.

we saw a lot of sea creatures and was lucky enough to spot a sea monkey!

after a lil bit of snorkling we ate a feast. Ironically, I was the one who ate the least. I still don't know if i should thank the soup or hate it because it changed my stomach capacity. :p



After eating next stop was island cove.

This place has 2 caves that also has an opening near the sea. So we were like in 8 waves only this was real. for more photos visit mushy's bora photo.

It was about 4:30pm when we finished so after some more...

we finally decided to call it a day.

The next morning it was for some of the gang to leave. Well, Glenn, Goy, Mushy and I decided to get another day out of the bora adventure.

The day after our last day in bora is our first anniversary. So what better way to pre-celebrate it than to do something special. :D

Happy April Fool's Day!

why do I love thee?

If I were to answer that question, I may say because she has tantalizing eyes, pretty, loves her family very much, loves God, hardworking, ..., and lots lots more, but I won't.

Yes all are good qualities... but for me those things are still limited in why I love her. I mean, all I'm saying is I love her for all she is which in truth cannot really be described by any other word.

I love you because I love you...

JEST once

I really don't know what came into my mind. Is it the possible photo opp (which didn't happen since circumstances prevent me from bringing the camera), or the possible wild life exposure, or maybe it was just the call of nature... :))

After some more thoughts in the car I decided that I really want to try this out. And no my final decision was not based because we were already several hundred miles away from the metro.

After several hours of travelling by car. I am prepared to journey the wild!

not! My feet was beginning to sore because it's harder to have long walks for me being flat footed. But all was well and good but wished I got a bolo which they were lending at the base. Imagine... chop tall grass! chop branches! chop bag of the fellow in front of you! err..

In every walk of life, sometimes you
really need to just stop and smell the... trees?

and if that wasn't enough... place a hammock in between them
and rest your butt off for a while... ahh the bliss...

after having some stories from the office... :)) it was now sleeping time... and after a few hours, it was now waking time. we were supposed to wake up around 5am so that by 7am we can start going back to the base camp. We woke around 7am.

after some packing we are now ready again to venture to the forest. This time it was easier for me because I have consumed the 1.5Gallon of water that was on my back pack. Mind you, hiking up and down hills with 1.5G almost feels like the death march (even though it was february.. wakokokoko) .

We were supposed to eat a JEST delicacy "fruit bat on a stick" which was unfortunate because our guides didn't found any. Fortunately while walking they saw a bamboo with a fruit bat. This photo reminds me a bit of the poster of silence of the lambs which was a good movie and a good read... wala lang. :))

we were given a choice to go back the easy way or the hard way. Of course most of the times, the hard way has its benefits.


after going to the cliff of the mountain it was now time to go back and walk and pose along the way. Which became a pretty long way because we think our guide made a wrong turn which added 1 more hour of walking, posing and now cursing.

After all have been said and done, I am yet undecided if this will be a JEST once experience. hmm..

Valentine's day in my opinion is over-rated.

That's why i never expected to receive anything from Nina. Well maybe a card would have been fine... but no.. It has to be a perfume and my favorite almond snickers bars which was all good but that's not the best part though...

What i really didn't saw coming was the personally crafted paper bag designed by Mushy. This really really really made me very very very happy on valentine's day, I mean this is one of those happy moments that's you really can't easily explain [meaning I can explain it but with recursive infinite loops]. :))

and then after office we went to PhilCOA, took here to a nice dining place with fishbowl as substitute for drinking glass and then to UP Diliman's Astronomical Observatory to look at some constallations and Saturn. All of these of course was my surprise for her...

Yeah.. Valentine's day sure is over-rated. :p

ako ay may lobo... at tiger na rin.

sabado ng umaga nun... malamig.. at antok pa ako... mga 6:00AM pa lang nasa clark field na kami at marami nang tao... pumunta kami dun upang manood ng balloon fest. Kaso naubusan kami ng ticket para makapasok dun sa mismong work field ng mga balloons.. huhuhu.. at dala ko lang na lens is yung wide at naiwan ko yung kit lens sa sasakyan ni jayjay.... I really need to practice on my wide angle shots.. because a lot of them are still crap.. ahuhuhuhu..

anyways.. there were a lot of balloons which i wish we got a chance to ride... Smart and PLDT was having a promo to ride their balloons for free with a subscription or just pay $100... just plain stupid imo...

To Zoobic we will go.

Before lunch time we went straight to Zoobic in Subic.. hehehe... We had our lunch in zoobic which i can recommend, big servings at a reasonable price and even with all the food Mitch still availed the Buffet meal. :))

mushy was so thrilled with Zoobic being a tiger themed park and all.

There was also this event were we rode a caged jeep and can throw chicken meat for Php200 so the tiger would pounce the jeep, which was kind of steep (kuripot ako e) so we didn't avail the tiger feed... Well that was a wrong move for our part because the tiger was just... uhmm... standing there.. :-<

Now i can guarantee that mushy doesn't cook like tenma-chan... :p

Merry Christmas

Today was one of the happiest Christmas because for the first time we didn't slept our noche buena till Christmas dawn.

Previous Christmas eves, we arrive at QC before midnight and then sleep right after unloading everything out of the car but today was different.. ^___^

I also received from my Mushy a toolbox which i badly needed for my room organization training. This is our first Christmas and i know, won't be our last.

lol, it's been more than a month since my last update!!!


Let's see.. I need to do a seperate posts of the following stuffs:

1. My birthday! especially the gifts that i've received from Mushy. |hug|

2. Assembled a new video editing rig for my erpats, my semi-dream machine. Specs to follow.

3. work (scrap that) Soccer! Finally i've made use of my almost a year old never been used soccer shoes!!! And I made several goals!!!

After itemizing what i've missed posting since, I can either say that I have no life, or I easily forget and really need to write things ASAP less they go down oblivion which is my brain...
